Sneak Preview

Heres a sneak preview of our new yarn in our range this is a beautiful 2ply Aran weight 100% silk yarn which has a beautiful lustre.
Here it is dyed in the carnival colour way, see how well the silk takes the colour.

New Baby Bunny photos

As promised here is an update on the baby bunnies, they are a little older and have had their first haircut.

Hand Spun

This week we've been concentrating on getting some of our handspun done and this is some of our results.

Firstly this is our yarn Starflower

We start we handdyed wenslydale curls and we end up with a highly textured yarn with occasional drops of curls.

A New Completed project

Les is a self taught crocheter, and now makes all the crocheted hats, scarves and ponchos for Silkwood for sale at the shows.

This little shoulder wrap is made from Angora and Merino.

Congratulations Polly you are are winner, as you can see Shaun has had his first haircut and it is in the process of being spun.
Tess and Les had such a hard time choosing between the entries that we will be having runners up who will be contacted shortly who will have a 10% discount on any order of yarn.
